i have groomed the chickens but how do i get the eggs and bacon to complete this mission??

tend chickens by hand to get them as collection items

For bacon, raise and harvest pigs. The pan of eggs is more difficult to come by because it rarely shows up when you harvest your chickens. You'd do well do get a bunch of neighbors and ask them for some. Go to your Chicken section of your Collectibles and click on the list button under the eggs to add them to your wish list that appears at the top.
