• Clobbering varmints counts towards some goals! 

While you're walking around you may come across a varmint! 

The area around the enemy will turn red. It will cost you extra energy to do any task other than fighting in the red highlighted area. You can go to an area that is not red and continue your tasks as usual, but you're going to have to fight this guy sometime!

 It takes 3-7 punches (this does take energy) to defeat them then you get a nice bonus to share with friends. Watch the little status bar over their head.

The groundhog 

shows up while you're tending your crops. 

The snake 

shows up while you're clearing the grass. 

The bear

 shows up while you're chopping trees. 

The Fox

shows up while you're tending chickens and geese.

You can see the varmints on other peoples homesteads, but you cannot help get rid of them.
